Yearly scan at Primary Children’s Hospital

It has been a year (!) since we have looked at the mass in Reba’s abdomen. Today went really well. It was a long day- first labs, then a heart EKG, then a thorough ultrasound of her abdomen, followed by appointments with her oncologist and a new appointment with survivorship clinic. Starting the survivorship clinic is exciting because it is a big support system Reba can lean into as she gets older and more independent. Her heart EKG looks great and her abdomen ultrasound shows that the tumor still measured about the same and is stable. The plan is to do MRI in a year and maintain a schedule that alternates between MRIs and ultrasound. We are so thankful for this continued stability and so very thankful for all the amazing heath providers.

Almost 9 with a very bright future. 💗

    So thankful for the great care you are continuing to receive. After less than a year of dealing with my own abdominal mass intruder, I am in awe of Reba’s courage and of your faithfulness in maintaining her childhood and your family life in the most “normal” way possible. This is all really wonderful news – prayers that it all continues to get better and better!
