Today 7/15/24 Reba and I went to Utah to Primary Children’s hospital for her yearly check- labs, MRI, Cardiology Echo, Audiology, Survivorship clinic and Oncology clinic. What a day!
Reba is such a trooper and handled everything like a pro. It is crazy to think that it has been 7 years since we stopped treatment.
The MRI shows very slight growth of her tumor in her abdomen but nothing to cause for treatment so the plan is to check everything again in a year.
This is exactly the news we were hoping for. Her labs look great, the ECHO shows continued swelling of her ST junction of her ascending aorta, but no treatment at this time…. audiology was super and her oncologist is fine giving us another year off and checking everything again in a year.
We are so grateful to all the great doctors and medical professionals who are compassionate and so very kind.
