Yearly Check 9/15/25

It has been exactly 14 months since our last check up with Primaries so we were as always a little nervous going into it. Everything for the most part went smoothly- this time Reba had an ultrasound on her abdomen to check on the mass. Every other year we alternate MRI and Ultrasound. She also had labs done and met with her survivorship team. Labs do indicate an elevated anc (pre-diabetes) maybe due to the fact that the mass does push on her pancreas which is responsible for metabolizing sugars. We will keep an eye on that… also low in magnesium… but overall great news which is “see ya in a year”! Exactly what we wanted to hear. It’s hard with Reba- every cold, ailment- is it related to the chemotherapy she received as a baby or normal? We just have to take each thing as it comes. Today Reba is 11. She is such a blessing in our lives and to those who know her, near and far.

We made a fun weekend of it and went to Lagoon. 💗
Of course the whole family came to support.
