Done! Today was very similar to yesterday in terms of efficiency and promptness. We had the same nurse as yesterday and she is fantastic.
Pre hydration followed by the two chemos, followed by the post hydration. Reba also had labs drawn today and had a dressing change on her PICC line.
Poppa went with us today which was special and it was super hero day at LPCH so Reba got a cape, hat and mask.
Done! Today was the fastest, most efficient day- we are so grateful for our very prompt nurse today. It only took 4 hours!! Usually we are there 6+ hours.

We were happy to get a visit from Megan from Jacobs heart. Jacobs heart has been there for us since day 1, and we are so grateful.

It went pretty smoothly today. Reba did get sick on the early morning drive but has been hanging tough ever since. Nana and Zoe came with us today which was lots of fun. We will be back at it tomorrow.
Today 4/25/16 Reba started the first day of the fourth chemo cycle. It is the same as the first three cycles: five days of the two chemo infusions (with pre and post hydration) and the Neulasta on the sixth day.
Despite our whole family having colds last week somehow we are able to continue with the schedule!
Next Thursday Reba will have an MRI and MIBG scan and May 12 here is a review of scans at which point our Doctors will let us know the next step.

Today 4/9/16 we went up for the sixth day for Reba’s Neulasta injection. This very important injection will promote growth of white blood cells.
Chemo cycle 4 is scheduled in two weeks.

Day 5 of cycle 3 is done! Ya-Ya and Zoe came with us today which made today so fun! Tomorrow we are back for the Neulasta injection, and chemo cycle 4 is on the horizon in two weeks.

Nana and Zoe came with us today and we were creative with new activities like painting! (thanks to childlife at LPCH!)

It was harder than usual entertaining an 18 month old on a short infusion leash for 5 hours. So glad today is done.

Today 4/4/16 we started chemo cycle 3. We are now familiar with the routine: 1 hour of pre-hydration, followed by the two chemos, Cyclophosphimide and Topetecan, then 2 hours of post-hydration.
Everything went fine. Today is day one of six. Wish us luck!
